Bong Ty Dazo began his career in comics in 1988, and is a veteran of Marvel, DC, and Darkhorse. He is a former Thespian and production designer for the Philippine Educational Theater Association, he made sculptures from kitbashed toys, tore around on a Z50 mini trail bike, and was addicted to classic movies.

Bong passed away in the Philippines in 2018. He is survived by his 2 kids, wife and 7 semi-wild dogs. His favorite color was blue.
